Salam..

   I mentioned before I had some difficulties with my LAP application.. but today I went to the LAP Office in UIA..and alhamdulillah I received the application form and all I need to do now is to send it to Dr. Euw in the Forensic Lab. I’ll do that first thing in the morning.

  Then in the evening, Shazana smsed me inviting me to join her to Peter Pan’s showcase at Ruums KL  at 10pm tonight since she has free passes. I straight away said yes!! She said she got it from her dad. Cool. I heard bout the ad a few days back on radio, but if people want to win the tickets they have to download any kind of Peter Pan stuffs on the net, and you have to be the biggest downloader, and it’s especially for Celcom users. I don’t like the idea which you have to SMS the most.. or download the most.. it’s not really winning to me. So it’s just my luck Sha has the tickets. What else.. yes since she had bought a ticket before.. I sold it to my friend Hairul.. and he’s joining us tonight. I feel so excited, coz we are all crazy bout Indon rock bands (except Radja).. and it was only last night Hairul & I got really crazy watching One Million Voices performance on Youtube.. it’s so INCREDIBLY AWESOME to watch Once Dewa, Fadly Padi, Jamrud’s vox, Ariel Peter Pan n of course my sayang Duta SO7 collaborated on a stage. That video made me cry n smile at the same time And tonight we’re gonna watch Peter Pan live! Oh how cooler that can be? K will update more about the showcase. Muaxxx!! Salam.

(Post Peter Pan’s Hari Yang Cerah showcase)

       Sha n I arrived at Ruums around 10pm plus.. the crowd was pretty huge outside. I expected it to start quite late anyways, considering the Nidji experience I had before. Then I was introduced to Sha’s friends from UM.. 1 of them got the tickets from Peter Pan’s manager coz she’s friends with him.. n she got an sms from him telling that Peter Pan would only show up at 12 midnite. Atoiii~

       Then I got an sms from Hairul telling me that he’s arrived. Ok this is a bit lawak here.. when ur only like 2 weeks being friends with a guy.. u’ll be pretty shy and awkward around him no matter how much u guys thought dat u guys r like twins separated at birth since u could relate to each other so much…n a funnier thing is that he calls me bestfriend..strange but nice This guy.. if anyone wants to find him.. is super easy..he’s like a pole.. u can even make a factual statement cum joke like if u wanna meet ur friend at a crowded place.. u can just say "Ok, I’ll see you AT Hairul." Got it?? 192 cm for a Malay guy.. how taller a person can be.. aiyoh n he’s DAMN proud of it.

     Yeah since I said I was still shy around him ..n he’s like ultra shy compared than me..lagi le teruk.. Sha kept urging me to talk to him "hey cakapla dgn kawan kau..kesian dia." :p Anyways when we entered Ruums, the place was packed. Compared to Nidji’s elevated stage at the very back, which made the place to be more spacious.. Peter Pan just had a low stage in the middle of the whole floor. We got our place next to the speakers, bayangkanlah camne kitorang melompat bila dengar the drummer tested the drums. Double aiyoh~

   As usual, to kill the time, Sha n I took photos.. typical uncreative poses but what else to do right?? We laughed at the fact that Hairul is so tall.. he looked like he’s our bodyguard or something :p Ok to be frank, I admire n listen to Peter Pan’s songs.. but not to the extent I know their names except Ariel. The days for me to be EXTEREMELY crazy over a band has long ended.. but I still enjoy music.

      Finally sharp at 12 midnight.. the whole band came in.. Oh-oh Ariel was SO short tak sangka akak :p Since we were standing next to the stage.. I think it was pretty intelligent of them to have many mics erected at many parts of the stage..so sometimes Ariel would be facing here..sometimes facing there.. not only facing to the crowd in front.

     He initiated their performance with a song from Alexandria’s OST.. then he continued with my fav Tak Bisakah (reminded me of Khairil whom dedicated this song to me..apa khabar sobatku di Miri??) I was having fun to that song.. coz it’s my fav. Then he continued with songs from their new album Hari Yang Cerah. Ala start tu dah tak best dah. Ok I cannot blame them.. their new songs sound good as well.. and it would be unfair to them if the crowd expect them to sing the songs they’ve been singing for the past years again and again.. but their older songs are the songs which are fond to our hearts and the ones we could sing along. Lebih membosankan lagi.. Ariel had to give us the synopsis of each song.. that was like SO BO~RING.. dah rasa cam kat Malam Sayembara Puisi dah~

     One thing I noticed bout Ariel.. he has this habit of singing with his mouth being VERY close to the mic.. and the mic should be the one erected on stage.. so that would limit his movements. Thus no matter how hard the music went.. the crowd would not really move to it.. only when he asked people to clap their hands they did. Tak best tol. Unlike Duta Sheila On 7.. he would be jumping up and down all over the stage.. he’s like Giring by Nidji.. so energetic.. even if the song is a laidback number.. people would get really moving to it. When I complained to Sha "Apa ni Sha.. Ariel mellow gila.. Duta tak pernah buat camni kat kita…" Sha said "Ala janganla majuk…" Tak kisah nak majuk gak..

     The showcase ended 45 minutes later (how could the sponsor called it a concert?). It was a huge disappointment for me.. but Hairul seemed to enjoyed himself real good.. I kept telling him "Sorry la kalau boring." And as always with his eager smile he said "Hey best pe! It’s music man!" Ok it’s good if he enjoyed himself.

      The next thing I knew.. we had supper at Suzi’s Corner.. to sum it up.. Peter Pan’s showcase for me was boring coz I was not familiar with their new songs.. and I kept missing Duta while watching Ariel.. takleh tolong la kan . K people..Salam
